This thread is dedicated to the news related to the mobilization of Rosovian in early February.
As posted in general:
February 5th, 1940
Rosovian soldiers in the Western Theater have been instructed to mobilize and make their way to the Ostwen-Rosov border and begin building fortifications. Little information is being shared as to what the goal of these troops are, but Marshal Zemfira Voronina suggests it is due to Ostwen's recent hostile expansion and lack of communication with the Rosovian government.
Basic mobilization will remain in effect for the other parts of the nation, but soldiers in the Eastern Theater are to begin drilling in amphibious invasions.

In response to accusations of unjustifiable aggression, Fredit Dashkov, the Commissar of Foreign Affairs, released the following statement: "Do we not have the right to defend ourselves? Ostwen annexed two neighboring nations in a war that only ended a week ago. They've never responded to our attempts at diplomacy. We cannot be sure as to their intentions and are acting in how we see appropriate. We do not wish for war, but we will be prepared for it."
The Northern Theater has been ordered to mobilize once more, but under Akim Kozlov. Marshal Kozlov seeks to utilize and defend the river, much like Marshal Vedenin had intended, only a few days ago.
Response from citizens, government and non-government alike, are very unfavorable towards King Vikingar. They believe he is too anxious to get into a war, to be diplomatically reliable.

Contact has been made with a Pintish States representative. They have a policy of "all or nothing" when it comes to agreements extending to their member nations, so a quick resolution to the events in the Western Theater is unlikely, but the threat of an escalation of conflict remains very low.
No effort has been made to contact representatives from Vikingland. Premier Karpela has approved requests for more permanent fortifications to be erected along the river, that will be undertaken as winter comes to an end. It is uncertain as to what will occur in the Northern Theater, but few expect peace to be so easily achieved as last time.
Surveys are being conducted to gauge the opinions of the Rosovian people, as the event unfolds. Expect early results some time tomorrow.

In response to Vikingland's implied threats of paratrooper attacks. The Grand Workers' Militia is being mobilized in the Northern Theater. They will be responsible for manning AA positions around North Rosov and finding and killing or capturing any enemy paratroopers that could find themselves in our nation.

Results from the survey are in:
39% of the Rosovian people surveyed are fine with the way the government is handling the Vikingland border. 55% believe offensive operations should have been undertaken already. 6% either believe we should have demobilized already or abstained from this question.
75% of the Rosovian people surveyed are fine with the way the government is handling the Ostwen border. 23% believe we should have demobilized already. 2% either believe offensive operations should have been undertaken already or abstained from this question.

Marshal Kozlov has ordered reconnaissance aircraft to begin making flights around the Vikingland border and in the surrounding waters. He is hoping to gather information about the situation at hand. Many bombers have been relocated to the Northern Theater from the Central Theater and interceptors have had drilling times increased.

Premier Karpela has ignored King Ragnorr's instructions for his troops to demobilize. He says that the people of Vikingland have traded one tyrant for another and are still some of the most militant people in the region.

Upon news of the agreement with the Pintish States, Comrade Karpela has ordered the Western Theater to return to a state of basic mobilization. Some of the Western Theater's artillery assets will be relocated to the Vikingland border, until Comrade Karpela orders otherwise.
